How We Partner
Student Energy partners with non-profit organizations, civil societies, governments, and companies worldwide to advance the role of youth and harness collective action towards an equitable energy transition. Partners can be collaborative and provide opportunities for our youth network or provide funding for our organization’s programs.
We encourage a diversity of organizations to support our work, as we believe all actors need to be at the table and every diverse context and perspective of the energy system represented if the world is to transition to a sustainable energy future that truly leaves no one behind.
We would like to sincerely thank our partners and donors for their ongoing support and commitment to Student Energy.
Student Energy’s Partnership Principles
Student Energy takes its funding ethics and partnership principles very seriously, and we strive to be transparent with our partners and young people that we work with about the role that partners play in supporting and engaging with our programs.
Student Energy’s Youth Engagement Principles
Student Energy’s youth engagement principles are fundamental to how we develop programs, but are also an important part of how we form and maintain partnerships. As Student Energy was founded by youth to empower youth-led solutions and collaboration, we share these principles with partners to help ensure that our current and future programs continue to meet the needs of young people, globally.
Funding Partners
Funding Partners see the value in Student Energy’s programs, mission, and goal, and want to enable young people to develop the skills, knowledge, and network to lead on climate action and energy. The following partners work with Student Energy to support our programs and organizational capacity to ensure we can continue supporting the next generation of climate and energy leaders.
Strategic and Collaborative Partners
Strategic and Collaborative Partners are organizations with ongoing initiatives related to youth, sustainable energy, or climate change that we collaborate with to mutually enhance our programs and initiatives, with a shared goal of supporting young people who want to take action on climate change and energy. Strategic and Collaborative Partners provide in-kind support for our programs through knowledge-sharing, network-building, sharing opportunities with our youth network, and providing access to learning resources.
